Is solace anywhere more comforting than
that in the arms of a sister.

Women Read Against War
an E-zine to be uploaded to this site by July 4th

Women have joined voices to understand the impact of war on women and their families,
with our poetry and other writing by women from the Rochester region.

We are sharing through our words the common journey that we travel
as mothers, sisters, friends, families, and soldiers in this time of war and violence.

Our first reading was March 14, 2008 at the 1st Unitarian Church in Rochester NY
co-sponsored by the
1st Unitarian Peace Advocates Task Force.
