New York is a land of outstanding natural beauty. You can experience it up close and personal on one of the state's many hiking trails. New York trails are as diverse as the environments through which they pass. You can hike from New York to North Dakota on the North Country National Scenic Trail or hike from Maine to Georgia on the Appalachian Trail. Help me help others create trails by submitting your organizations URL.
Hiking trail associations are non-profit organizations that work to preserve green space and foster understanding and respect for the environment. They consist of volunteers who work together to provide exercise enthusiast a convenient and natural environment to hike, walk, or bicycle. This Homepage is dedicated to helping these groups by providing an index of organizational links, assistance publishing information on-line, and providing general information to the public about hiking trails. If you have any questions or comments please fill in my comment form or send E-mail.

How can I get my organization on-line?
The best way to obtain a homepage for your organization is to contact a FreeNet in your area. They will be happy assist your association in creating a homepage on the web. You will be responsible for writing the content but do not let that discourage you. You and your members have probably already written allot about your association, most of which can be adapted to your homepage. If there is not a FreeNet in your area I can help you design and setup a homepage as well as publishing the page(Free of course). To contact me you can submit a request through my comment form, E-mail, or snail mail address. My qualifications and samples of my work are listed on my Resume page. If you are not ready for a homepage at least list your contact information on the New York Trails Homepage so that potential members can find you.
