Tasa's Memorials: Site Awards

Tasa turned the last page of her wonderful life with us after a short battle with stomach cancer. Morning x-rays and blood test at the veterinarians office on Monday June 21st 1999 revealed a malignant tumor the size of a small football located within her stomach. Given only a few days before the cancer would cause her essential organs to shut down and the fact that those days would be filled with both very much discomfort for Tasa and all her loved ones we made the very difficult decision to terminate her suffering that afternoon. Tasa expired peacefully in the company of my wife and myself at 4 p.m. She was cremated on June 23rd and we buried her remains amongst a large grove of Spruce trees along one of her much loved walking trails on July 9th. Happiness is hers forever now but it has been a struggle for her loved ones left behind with so many beautiful and cherished memories of her unconditional love. To view Tasa's Certificate of Cremation click on the blue text. Tasa resided in Spencerport, New York where she roamed thirteen beautiful acres of treed terrain including Salmon Creek and a large pond located in her own backyard. She shared this domain with five furry domesticated felines, who wandered through her property at various points in time, and after discovering what great benefits and potential for the ultimate in comfort the land and human inhabitants had to offer the cats individually resolved to remain and share their lives with Tasa and her family. Tasa loved to swim, go for rides in her 1987 Jeep Wrangler with top and doors off, go for long walks to investigate the new smells of the day and in general be around when her loved ones were consuming anything that was edible.
