This is how we make a bonfire.

A long, gradually sloping sandy beach makes an excellent place for wading in with your boat.  The sandy beach encourages sun tanning and relaxed conversation, while shade trees close at hand offer cool places for picnics.  Youngsters enjoy fishing off the docks or jetty, and bonfires on the beach attract members nightly.  There is plenty of camping space among the trees, with grills and picnic tables for everyone.

The beachside club house is a convenient place to keep and prepare meals, or to serve a small crowd when weather doesn't cooperate.  A VHF Radio, bulletin board, and telephone keep communication going to support safety, friendship, and smooth operation of the club.
