
1st step

Rough sand the old finish off the
floor with
a belt sander called a “Hummel”. This
step cleans up the wood and makes it flat.
2nd step
The edges get
sanded with a disk sander 3rd Step
Wood filler is applied to fill crack and nail hole
4th Step
Step one and two are repeated with fine grit sandpaper.
This makes the wood smooth and removes extra wood filler.
5th
step
The corners need to be scraped and hand sanded.
6th

The wood is then buffed with a nylon screen to
remove the transition between
the Hummel and the Edger
.
Step 7
After careful cleaning the floor is
ready for finish.
If desired, stain can be applied to change the color of the wood. The floor is ready to coated. The finish will be buffed again that makes it smooth and assure bonding. We then apply three coats of floor finish to assure years of lasting beauty.
