Welcome

to the Website for Rochester NY's informally organized group of recumbent enthusiasts.

Our unwritten charter is to promote and advocate recumbent cycling by gathering together for informal group rides,
and offering interested cyclists an opportunity to meet and talk with us about "bents",
see these machines on rides, and possibly try them out on short test rides.

On Sundays, every week from April to November, starting at 6:30 AM, will be the 22 mile Early Sunday "Hell-Bent for Breakfast Ride."
It starts in the parking area off Clinton Ave. So., where Clinton crosses the Canal.

Other rides

The annual Great Finger Lakes Bicycle Tour GFLBT, hosted by the Southern Tier Bicycle Club STBC,
has drawn many of us back again and again over the last 15 years.
The RBR rally in State College, PA has been popular. The 2008 edition is scheduled for June 14-16.
The 5-Boro Bike Tour May 4, 2008 in NYC is bent-friendly (You can get a pass that allows you to start up front).

Ride for a goood cause.

Other useful or fun links

A ton of other great rides are also available through the Rochester Bicycling Club.
It is not a requirement that one be an RBC member to participate in the club rides
(although it is certainly encouraged and appreciated).
A calendar of club rides is available through the club's website at:
