Linda is a production turner and has been turning since the early 70's. Elected to the board of the American Association of Woodturners in 2000 she is currently serving her second term. In 1975 she started her own woodworking shop in Caracas, Venezuela designing and making custom furniture. In 1988 she began woodworking and turning workshops and demonstrations in Spanish and English in Venezuela, Mexico and the US.
Linda has been the featured demonstrator at many woodturning events including the Utah Woodturning symposium in 2000 and the Texas Turn or Two in 2001 and 2002.
The demo program will include Linda's signature style flying angels which she will demonstrate in the morning. In the afternoon she will demonstrate her unique natural edge candlesticks. Side topics will include sharpening, sanding and how to use the skew.
