For the dark strip at the top of the hull I used a a 3/4" walnut iron veneer strip. I applied it with an old iron. I applied the ducks to the hull one at a time. I applied a coat of epoxy to both the inlay and hull. Applied inlay to hull and covered with a piece of plasic and weighted it down with a large plastic bag filled with sand. I also added some brick on top of the sand bag.
