I can give the solution for the first room... I solved it myself. I call this room, the "word" room, you will understand why. -------------------------- This room is hard to solve. There first seem to be very few clues. Here's how to start. Almost all the element relate to something, writing or perhaps speech. The four word above the door are all synonimus of stories, why are events that are written or spoken. The incomprehensible sign on the paper on the floor seem to be japanese. These is another sign that this room is about writing. Next, if we search for clues in the text... let's see, one line that has hit me is: "Something was ringing behind one of the doors. They spent some time trying to decide which door it was, not understanding that the silences of the Maze are as eloquent as the sounds." How can a ringing be eloquent? Eloquence is the power to affect people with word and speech. Or was he really talking about the ringing? No that's the clue. He was talking about the speeches of the visitors. But he said that silence is as eloquent as sound. This is my interpretation, but I think he meant to tell to search what is not told, the word that is not told. "Story" is told by the second visitor in "The story of my life," if we rearange the letters "Late" can become "Tale" in "We don't want to be late," Finally "Yarn" is in the word "Nary" in "Nary a soul to be seen," what word is left? "Fable"! It can't be found in any speech. So the puzzle in that room indicate door 26. Ho yes, please notice the 2 papers on the floor near the entrance saying "GO" and "17", "GO 17". --------------------------- That is the solution to room 1. I could give you hints and leads for some others room. I figures the riddle in several other rooms. However I want clues from you too for other rooms. The maze is fascinating! The final riddle is just a very small part of all the riddles in the maze. Any room in this place has a puzzle to solve. You surely have found solve riddles in some rooms?! So every room interest me. I just need some hints :) -Raphael Vanier
