Subject: the narrator's identity Date: Thu, 15 May 2003 22:19:43 -0700 (PDT) From: liath i have been doing some research because someone metioned the possibility of the Narrator being Hamnet Shakespeare. I find that this theory is highly unlikely do to the fact that the Narrator is portrayed as immortal, at least in some fashion, and he wears a crown. Yes, a lot of the clues fit the Hamnet Theory, however, Hamnet died at the age of 11, it is uncertain of what, but it is believed he died of the plague. Also, I doubt that the Narrator is the Minataur. again, a lot of the clues fit that theory, but the Minataur had nothing to do with the designing of the Labrynth, yes it was built to contain him, but he was not the architect. Anyhow....I had to tell someone, so there I go, those are my thoughts for the immediate moment.
