Room 4: A black cat appears. It came out of one of the doors to the right, probably room No. 24. Room 7: The shadowy picture at top left looks a little to me like Adolf Hitler, maybe one of the residents of Room 24? Room 8: Is there any significance that the table has six legs? Room 9: A shooting star is visible on a painting. In the New Testament, I believe that Satan falling from heaven is referred to as "the star that fell from heaven". Room 15: The sacrificial tripod has a pentagram in it, further supporting the hellish nature of the maze. Room 16: Satan used to be an angel, but he was cast down into hell. The narrator's "old neighbors" could be angels. Room 20: The picture on the wall is a Tarot card, the Tower. Just wanted to mention this. Room 22: The third picture, the jumble of letters, is "woman's jewelry" spelled backwards. Room 24: I just want to say that this room has given me nightmares. Room 27: The inscription on the statue looks Latin. Can anyone translate it? (I'm only in my second year of Latin) Room 29: Okay, this is REALLY unlikely, but I think that the shadow which the had-stander makes on the wall looks like a devil's head. Room 39: The last time I checked, 1 times 1 did NOT equal two!
