I tend to agree that there is nothing to be gained by trying to identify the
guide.  It is tantalizing, I have the feeling that if there were a right
answer, it would be readily accepted and appreciated.  None of the ones I
hypothesize have any of the aha quality.

Please do let me know if you find any additional confirmation for the
conclusions on my pages, or alternative hypotheses.
