Descriptions

About OSAXen DB:
OSAXen DB was originally conceived by Bryan L. Kaufman MD, MS - bryan@apexrad.com as means of quickly obtaining OSAXen commands, syntax, along with raw code for events. Since then, it's developed into a full fledged OSAXen database. Scripts built into the database will automagically enter data for individual or a folder full of OSAXen, Apps, etc.

In its current form, it will check to see if OSAX is currently installed, find newly installed OSAXen, find duplicate commands, Open related dictionaries and documentation, Fields are also provided to alllow the user to store additional information as desired (convenient for cryptic dictionaries). You can use it to store info about nearly anything which contains a dictionary (OSAX, App, extension etc) installed or not.

The package includes: 2 Databases (one containing data from others, and a "blank" one for personal usage) , all required OSAXen and copious (boring) documentation.

About Tex-Edit Plus:
"Tex-Edit Plus" (Tom Bender's outstanding word processor) more than justifies its existence as a SimpleText replacement. But it's a great deal more: As a text editor it has some fabulous features, but as AppleScriptable Application it stands as model that deserves emulation. It's a MUST-HAVE for anyone learning or using Applescript. A Bonus: You can usually run scripts designed for late-lamented (and considerably lesser) "Scriptable Text Editor" It also comes with a full package of ready-to-run scripts. You can check out Tex-Edit at http://www.nearside.com/trans-tex/

AppleScript DB Requires: GTQ's "Date String for" OSAX (for one of the scripts). Available at http://www.osaxen.com (search for "GTQ")
